Bringing together books, history, culture, art, and even a touch of the great outdoors for which Alaska is so well known, the SLAM is definitely worth checking out when visiting downtown Juneau.

In addition to all the other things that is offered.   I really enjoy looking at the floor they have.   It has a map of Alaska which really shows how big the state is.   It also gives good idea of distance between cities.
