The Juneau Seawalk is a pleasant waterfront walkway along the Gastineau Channel in downtown Juneau. Visitors can access the Juneau Seawalk from the South end at Bridge Park featuring an impressive whale sculpture or at the North end at Egan drive and Gold Creek.

The walk capitalizes on the amazing view of the Channel and Douglas Island. Benches scatter throughout for visitors to sit and enjoy the view. Planners even took time to detail the lights with different plant art.
Visitors can even descend a set of stairs down to the water.
There is plenty of seating for a rest or a picnic at an overlook bearing a fun resemblance to the bow of a ship.
While planners were keen to include plenty of seating for the native bald eagle population, I did not find the dead trees to be particularly aesthetic. But the walk is also still under construction. For more information regarding the city’s vision, see their website here: JuneauSeawalk.
