Alaska Vision Center is Juneau’s premier provider of optometry services and vision care products.  They have a large selection of frames to choose from and excellent service.

They have a staff of eye doctors that offer exams and they take vision insurance from a wide variety of companies.  This is definitely the place to go and is conveniently located in downtown Juneau.

I previously visited the Vision Center to price new glasses.   The staff was very helpful and informative on the selection of new lenses and frames.   I found the prices to be a bit high, but considering it is Juneau, this is consistent for the area.

Recently I visited the Vision Center for assistance in repairing my glasses.  One of the nose pads had fallen off.   The staff was very helpful and eager to assist.  They kindly replaced both of my nose pads free of charge.   I was more than happy to contribute to their vision charity in exchange.
